Android 10 has officially been released, and if you have a compatible device you’ll be able to download and install the new update right now. At the moment only Google’s Pixel smartphones are supported, but many other devices will be eligible for this new update soon. If you happen to be the owner of a Pixel and are eager to try out the new features of Android 10, here’s how you can install it:
Step 1: Open the settings app on your phone.
Step 2: Use the search option or simply scroll down to find and open the ‘System’ settings.
Step 3: Scroll to the bottom and open the ‘Advanced’ tab, and select ‘System update’.
Step 4: Some information on Android 10 will appear and you will see the option to download it. If not then this will either mean that you already have Android 10 installed or your device is not compatible.
Step 5: Start the download and wait for it to complete. When it’s ready you will need to restart your phone to get the update working correctly. Once you’ve done this your device will be officially running Android 10!
